This weekend in Angleton, TX

Rollin’ Pearland 7 brings a high energy community ride to Pomona – The Grove, welcoming families and seasoned cyclists alike. Participants can choose a new 10 mile family route or longer options of 30, 50, and 70 miles. Every rider receives a finisher medal. On course support includes a police escort, SAG assistance, and well stocked rest stops. Expect music, food, vendors, and a lively atmosphere, plus a raffle for a new bike and another for the RP7 jersey. This ride supports mental health, autism awareness, youth empowerment, and education with scholarships planned for 2027. An official RP7 jersey is available. The weekend schedule features packet pickup and a kickoff ride, a power hour ride, the main event, and a recovery ride. The first 150 registrants receive a commemorative RP7 T-shirt.

This flat track roller derby event packs three bouts into one evening at Pearwood Skate Center in Pearland, Texas. The Stone Cold Stellas first meet Conjured Chaos, then return to the track for a second matchup against the Road Rash Rebels. Between those contests, the Junior Girls square off with Pink Side taking on The Dark Side. Trackside viewing is available and attendees may bring their own chairs. Discounted tickets are available online for children, veterans, and first responders, and the code SSRD provides an additional 30 percent off standard tickets.
