Tastings include rich mole tacos, tender barbacoa, smoky birria broth, and creamy horchata, complemented by fresh garden-sourced garnishes. Across roughly two and a half hours, the route features four nationally recognized taquerias and three mural visits while weaving in local food and culture. Restaurant gratuities and nonalcoholic beverages are included, with an optional $35 drink package available. Group size ranges from three to fourteen participants, and corporate or private tours are available daily.

The duo of Emily Saliers and Amy Ray has built a four-decade career with 16 studio albums and more than 15 million records sold. At Esquina Tango Austin, a weekly Urban Kiz and kizomba session combines learning and social practice. It begins with a class led by Charles Ogar and Alina, followed by an open-ended practica where participants can drill specific elements, ask questions, or simply relax and dance. Partners rotate each song so everyone gets plenty of dances, and the group is open to anyone. No partner or prior experience is required, and newcomers learn alongside dancers who are already comfortable with the style. The music and movement are rooted in Angolan kizomba, with Urban Kiz connecting those roots to Black American culture through ghetto zouk, a style influenced by R&B and hip hop. Each week builds on the last, and class breakdowns are recorded and added to the Kiz ATX library for review between sessions.
