The room is ADA compliant and reached by a staircase or two elevators. It is a bit of a walk from parking, so bringing a dolly or cart for move in and out is recommended. All displays must be free standing or able to lean against the walls, since nothing may be attached to the walls. Lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees. Those interested in standing for elected Region positions or wishing to have their vote counted for the 2026 term should plan to attend this meet. Donations are encouraged at the event or in advance; for advance donations, contact Jim Palmer (#1779), Treasurer, at treas@alpcalonestar.org. Awards will recognize Best of Show for a display of two or more different plates, Best Plate for a single item or pair, and Long Distance. The room must be vacated and cleaned promptly at the end of the event. This sanctioned meet is not open to the general public. Admission is $10 for ALPCA members, which includes use of a first table, and $10 for prospective members. Family members of both members and prospective members are admitted at no charge. Additional tables for members are $10 each, with no advance reservations required. Parking for library guests is free and plentiful in both a surface lot and a covered lot at the plaza that houses the library.
