This weekend in Celina, TX

The McKinney Classic is a PDGA A tier, three round disc golf tournament. Two rounds will use a shotgun start on the first competition day, followed by a final round with individual tee times on the next day. The event is trophy only for amateurs with a modified payout structure, and at least $3,000 in added cash is planned for professional divisions. Course layouts and rule sheets will be released once finalized so competitors can prepare. Pins will be set in tournament positions, with Towne Lake and the long position on hole 3 at Alex Clark Gold specifically noted, while other pin locations are already set. Division caps and waitlists will be reconciled and condensed prior to the event. For divisions with more than six players, podium finishers will receive trophies at the headquarters of the course where they complete their final round. Trophies are not shipped and must be picked up in person. The full amateur player pack will be revealed at player check in during the week of the event. There is a deadline to sign up to receive the full player pack, and anyone registering afterward is not guaranteed a full pack and will receive a voucher equal to the retail value of any unavailable items.
