A cheerful luau-themed dance and social for homeschoolers fills the WayBack Barn with music, games, and plenty of space to mingle across the property. The night features dancing in the old barn, mini golf, volleyball and Newcomb, 9 Square, cornhole and horseshoes, gaga ball, foosball and ping pong, and playful photo spots. Axe throwing is available for an additional fee. Dress for the theme with floral prints or pineapple button-downs, and shorts are perfectly fine. If the theme is not your style, comfortable attire is welcome. The Hayloft Bar & Griddle will be serving favorites such as pizza grilled cheese, fried chicken bites, s’mores packs, a Texas charcuterie board, hot dogs, corn dogs, old-fashioned sodas, and ice cream. This event is open to middle and high school students ages 11 and up. WayBack Barn staff and approved chaperones will be on site. Chaperones attend at no charge, must be approved in advance by emailing laura@waybackbarn.com, and are assigned to specific areas to keep watch. Parents are asked to plan for drop-off unless serving as an official chaperone, since extra adults on site can change the vibe. A family dance is planned for the fall. All sales are final.
