DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series Race 7

The Burning Soles Trail Series brings weekly 5K and 10K trail races to one of the top singletrack networks in North Texas, offering beginner friendly courses and a community focused atmosphere. Races take place on the Northshore Trail at the MADD Shelter, following laps of Loop 5 with a short section of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround, where a water cache is available. Courses are clearly marked and the finish area is lively. Both distances share the trail, so runners should stay aware of others on course. All participants are chip timed. At the first race attended, each runner is assigned a series bib that should be reused at subsequent races. Starts are conducted in mass waves by distance with all divisions together. Weekly podiums recognize the top three male and top three female finishers for each distance, with additional calls to the podium for age groups across both 5K and 10K divisions: Juniors 13 and under, Under 40 Men, Under 40 Women, Masters 41+ Men, and Masters 41+ Women. Series awards at the conclusion honor the top three in each division. Registration options include Full Series, Pre-Registration, and Late Registration, with pricing for Juniors 13 and under at $16 for the full series, $20 for pre-registration, and $30 for late registration, and for ages 14 and up at $24 for the full series, $30 for pre-registration, and $40 for late registration. Distances are approximate and may vary with trail conditions and course layout.
