The film runs 84 minutes in color and will be shown digitally. It stars Debbie Reynolds, Kimberly J. Brown, Judith Hoag, J. Paul Zimmerman, and Phillip Van Dyke, and is directed by Duwayne Dunham. The story follows Marnie, who discovers on her thirteenth birthday that she is a witch, travels through a hidden portal to Halloweentown, and faces warlocks, curses, and other supernatural challenges.

AJC presents a Japanese and English storytime at the Milwood Branch Library featuring kamishibai picture theater and picture books donated by Kinokuniya Austin. Totoro and Friends make a special appearance during the reading, including a surprise from Totoro. After the stories, families can enjoy a Halloween themed craft session with origami such as Totoro and acorn designs, followed by trick-or-treating with Totoro and Friends. Everyone must remain inside their vehicle and follow the established route, with seat belts fastened for all passengers. Entry is priced per vehicle, and each purchase provides a single trip through the course. Buying in advance is suggested to save money and secure a spot. Vehicles taller than 8 feet or longer than 23 feet are not allowed, and trailers, buses, limousines, and RVs are not permitted. All ticket sales are final with no refunds, and the event operates even in rainy weather.
