Classes are organized around vehicle model, modifications, and horsepower, so cars are grouped fairly. Any make can take part, creating an approachable environment to explore how a car behaves in different conditions. Registration opens two weeks before the event. Drivers typically receive five runs in the morning and five more in the afternoon, although the total can change with the weather.

Sunday Slow Ride returns with refreshed routes and three completely new options. These rides stay off highways and are planned for fun, scenic stretches with lighter traffic, featuring plenty of curves and extended time in the saddle. One of the new routes focuses on demanding, technical cornering. The ride is open to all types of motorcycles. American Aquarium takes the stage at Longhorn Ballroom & Backyard Amphitheater for an all ages show. Led by songwriter and vocalist BJ Barham, the lineup features Shane Boeker on guitar, Neil Jones on pedal steel, Rhett Huffman on keys, Ryan Van Fleet on drums, and Alden Hedges on bass. Their latest album, The Fear of Standing Still, was recorded live at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles with producer Shooter Jennings and mixed by Trina Shoemaker. It channels a bigger, more electric feel compared to the intimate, acoustic-leaning Chicamacomico, pairing surging riffs and driving rhythms with reflective storytelling. Barham writes about family, sobriety, Southern identity, and breaking harmful cycles, with songs like Crier challenging outdated ideas about masculinity, Southern Roots featuring Katie Pruitt examining what it means to love the South while urging it forward, and Babies Having Babies addressing autonomy and hard choices. Onstage the group is known for high energy performances that match muscular musicianship with candid, empathetic lyrics.
