The Monthly Chamber Luncheon at Red Oak Municipal Center features Jeremy Trojacek, owner of Chick-fil-A Red Oak. Lunch is provided by Chick-fil-A. Junior Spelling Bee
ROPL hosts a Junior Spelling Bee for young spellers. Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to test their skills and compete for a special 3D printed championship trophy. Age groups are listed as Explorers (6 to 12) and Tweens (8 to 12). Participants must check in before the competition begins, as late arrivals cannot take part once the event is underway. To prepare, pick up the official spelling list at the library and start studying. The winner will be recognized as ROPL’s first Junior Spelling Bee champion. Children 10 and under may not be left unattended in the library, and a responsible person who is 15 or older must remain on the premises during the program.
