While treats are offered, the emphasis is on the street haunt, roaming monsters, and the light show, and organizers cannot guarantee how many neighbors will participate or how much candy will be available. The team is also seeking costumed volunteers for the street haunt and asks for a firm commitment for the duration of the event. During the early no-scare period, the light show and street haunt are not active and begin only afterward.
