Events in Logan today

Tackle a scenic out‑and‑back run that follows the Logan River into Logan Canyon, passing all three dams along the way. Participants can choose from a 10 miler, 10K, or 5K, with the start and finish located at First Dam in Canyon Entrance Park. The event is part of the unofficial training series for the Top of Utah Marathon, also known as the Logan Marathon. Registration includes race entry, a unisex T‑shirt, a finisher medal, a swag bag, an official race bib, a raffle entry, and official timing. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for early registrants, with later entries receiving sizes as available. Packet pickup is available ahead of race day at Sol Speak Yoga and on race morning at the start area. Parking at First Dam is limited and permitted only in designated spots to avoid tickets or towing, so consider arriving early, carpooling, or arranging a drop‑off. Additional limited parking is available at Ray Hugie Hydro Park and in a few nearby areas along Highway 89 and Canyon Road. The race will proceed in any weather, and registrations are nonrefundable.

Farmers Market Ogden fills Historic 25th Street with a bustling summer marketplace that spans three city blocks. Each week, shoppers can explore more than 300 rotating vendors with farm-fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, handcrafted items, and a wide selection of food trucks and ready-to-eat options. The atmosphere is rounded out with live music, community programming, and family-friendly activities in the Municipal Park. Admission is free and open to all. Weekly highlights include the Kids Curiosity Corner presented by Ogden Nature Center in the Municipal Park, free community yoga powered by the GOAL Foundation, and performances on the main stage. Getting there is simple with free rides on Ogden Express OGX Route 603x and the Ogden Trolley Route 601. Parking is available at The Junction garages, Union Station, the UTA Frontrunner Station, and the WonderBlock garage on Grant Ave. Cyclists can use a complimentary bike valet service near the Information Booth. The market supports food access programs as an authorized SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, and ProduceRX retailer. Tokens and vouchers are available at the Information Booth for use with participating vendors. The season continues into the fall with a four-week series that showcases more than 100 seasonal vendors and autumn harvest goods.

The annual rummage sale returns with an expanded and improved experience. Expect more to explore than in previous years.

Join a friendly, all-ages talk about the trees of Logan Canyon, featuring Soren Struckman, a PhD candidate at Utah State University. The group will meet at Stokes Nature Center for the discussion, then head up the trail for a short walk.

Now in its fifth year, the Ogden Airport Car Show returns with some new touches. Attendees can pick up exclusive event T-shirts, and prizes will be given to participating cars. Spectator admission is free, with food trucks, vendors, and plenty of vehicles to explore at the Ogden airport. Registration is available for both vehicles and vendors, and spots tend to fill quickly.
