Now in its fifth season, the Roy Community Farmers Market brings a weekly gathering of local growers, makers, and neighbors. The market features farm-fresh produce, breads, meats, eggs, cookies, and handmade goods, along with live music, food from local vendors, games, and a weekly treasure hunt that adds extra fun. SNAP and Double Up benefits are accepted. It offers a relaxed night out in Roy and a chance to support the community.

Free grass volleyball pickup takes place at Linda Vista Park, welcoming players in the B to AA skill range. Games use a ladder format with a top court to keep matchups balanced. Arrive with a partner or come on your own. Teams can be women's, men's, or coed.

At Layton Ed Kenley Amphitheater, a free screening of Lilo & Stitch is part of the Free Friday Film Series. The story follows Stitch, an alien who escapes captivity and pretends to be a dog, and Lilo, a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts him from an animal shelter, as their bond helps mend her family. Subtitles will be enabled for accessibility. Attendees may bring a camping chair or blanket, and stadium seating is available. Food and nonalcoholic beverages are permitted. Kids Curiosity Corner brings free, hands-on nature and art activities to the Ogden Farmers Market, hosted by the Ogden Nature Center. For this installment, the theme spotlights nature’s cleanup crew with a make-and-take craft inspired by roly polies. Children can contribute to a collaborative Community Nature Mural, explore a fresh nature topic each week, and enjoy a welcoming, drop-in format designed for curious kids of all ages. The Curiosity Passport program adds extra fun, with one hole punch earned for each market visit and milestone rewards along the way, including a Nature Lover lanyard with pin at four punches, a big collector pin at six, a giant collector pin at ten, and a grand prize for the participant who achieves the season’s top punch total. Passports are available at the Ogden Nature Center booth during the market, and prizes are redeemed at the center where staff or volunteers verify punches and help families continue their nature exploration.

Farmers Market Ogden brings its summer season back to Historic 25th Street in Ogden, filling three city blocks with a weekly open-air marketplace. More than 300 rotating vendors appear throughout the season with farm-fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, handcrafted items, and plenty of ready-to-enjoy options from food trucks. Live performances and community activities set a lively tone, and families can explore kid-focused fun in the Municipal Park. Weekly features include the Kids Curiosity Corner with Ogden Nature Center in the Municipal Park, free community yoga powered by the GOAL Foundation, and performances on the main stage. Admission is free and the market is open to the public. Getting there is simple with free public transit on the Ogden Express OGX and the Ogden Trolley, and there is convenient parking at The Junction garages, Union Station, the UTA FrontRunner Station, and the WonderBlock parking garage a short walk away. A complimentary bike valet operates by the Information Booth, and bikes should be retrieved before the market closes. The market processes SNAP/EBT and participates in Double Up Food Bucks, the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, and ProduceRX, with tokens and vouchers available at the Information Booth for use with participating vendors. After summer, the series continues with a fall market featuring more than 100 seasonal vendors and autumn harvest goods.

Part of the Free Sunday Night Concert Series supported in part by Layton R.A.M.P., this performance at Layton Ed Kenley Amphitheater showcases Chrome Street Quartet. The ensemble serves up instrumental covers of well known songs across multiple genres, performed by an uncommon mix of oboe, violin, guitar, and cello. Their blend of classical technique and modern favorites blurs genre lines and often sparks clapping, singing along, and a little dancing. Attendees may bring a camping chair or blanket, or use the stadium seating. Food and nonalcoholic drinks are welcome.
