A nostalgic sock hop features hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond, all wrapped in a Grease inspired theme. The night includes dancing, lighthearted games, and chances to reminisce, with food and drinks available to keep energy up. Advance ticket purchases in office or online are encouraged, with tickets also available at the door. Admission is $10 for individuals and $15 for couples. Guests younger than 45 must attend as a plus one. Special thanks are noted for last year’s sponsors Brookdale and Humana.

These three staples of the late 1990s and 2000s share one stage for a surge of volume and adrenaline. Expect Nonpoint’s high-energy set packed with fan favorites, the return of Spineshank, and Hed PE’s boundary-blending intensity. This is an all-ages event. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and proper ID is required for entry. Tickets are moving fast, and a sellout is possible.

A welcoming circle of musicians meets in The Shop at Queen City Music Studios for a recurring Old Time jam session that is open to both players and listeners. It is a free community music gathering run by volunteers, including staff, family, and friends. While there is no admission, optional donations on a sliding scale of 10 to 20 dollars are appreciated and directly support the studio’s mission of making music makers. Queen City Music Studios blends a school, a shop, and special events. The organization features a retail music store, community gatherings, workshops, rehearsal space, house concerts, and a music school with lessons and group classes for all ages, styles, and skill levels. Founded by Molly Rose Murphy in 2015 as a learn-by-ear alternative, it has grown to offer booking, event management, and production services, supported by a team of more than twenty professional musicians and instructors. The shop provides new and used instruments, accessories, and repairs, and Molly’s Musikgarten offers early development family music classes.
