Summer Tours at Fort Monroe
Celebrate a love of museums with free, 45-minute guided summer tours at Fort Monroe. Tours set out from the Visitor Center and visit different locations around the fort, with the route changing from day to day. No registration is required.
Christmas in July @ Beans
Hosted by the Junior League of Hampton Roads at Bean's Ice Cream, this cheerful Christmas in July celebration supports the League's mission to uplift women and strengthen the community through a portion of proceeds. With support from Claus Cares, Santa will be on site to chat with children, listen to summer wish lists, and pose for festive photos. Donations are encouraged for photo opportunities and will benefit both the Junior League of Hampton Roads and Claus Cares. Cool off with favorite frozen treats and enjoy a touch of holiday spirit in the middle of summer.
Bean's Ice CreamWonderland
Wonderland brings a genre-blurring music experience that shifts from rock to funk to unexpected sounds, keeping the crowd moving. Instead of staying in one lane, it thrives on surprises and sustained, high energy from the first note to the last. It is made for anyone seeking an experience that stands apart. Attendees can gather with friends, enjoy a drink, and get swept up in the sound.
FIRST SHOTS: The Marksman
Interested in getting started in the shooting sports but unsure where to begin? The Armed Women of America chapter will offer a First Shots session during its monthly chapter meeting, created to give newcomers a straightforward introduction. Friends are welcome. Reserve a spot by calling (757) 630-8882, or email awahamptonroadsva@gmail.com to sign up or request more information.
