DockDogs brings a full weekend of canine aquatics to Issaquah Salmon Days with high-flying jumps, speedy retrieves, and vertical challenges. Teams can compete in Big Air waves, test height in Extreme Vertical, and race the clock in Speed Retrieve, with Big Air finals wrapping things up across Pro, Semi Pro, Contender, and Amateur divisions. Downtown Issaquah hosts the 57th annual Salmon Days, recognized as Washington State’s largest two-day festival. This free festival raises funds for Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial, a nonprofit that supports fishermen and their families and honors those who have been lost at sea. Organized by an all-volunteer committee along with a group of organizations, it introduces the public to Fishermen’s Terminal and the North Pacific Fishing Fleet and celebrates the commercial seafood industry that is central to Seattle’s history. Attendees can look forward to enjoyable, educational activities that highlight the distinctive character of the historic terminal.

Leo families and enthusiasts gather for a casual LeoWalk at the Marymoor Dog Park off-leash area in the Puget Sound region. The meet-up spot is the main dog park entry near Parking Lot D. After touring the country, ART X SUSHI arrives in Seattle with an upbeat, immersive evening where the city’s creative energy meets the craft of sushi. A wide-ranging exhibit showcases work from more than 15 visionary and emerging artists from the 206, spanning painting, digital art, and contributions from underground creators. Early arrivals can enjoy complimentary welcome sushi while exploring the gallery. The atmosphere features live music and top-tier DJs, with craft drinks and food available for purchase throughout the night. Seattle-based artists are invited to submit work for this show, and the first two pieces from each artist are free to submit and display. Queer Figure Drawing is a relaxed, free session at Together Center where participants sketch one another. Please bring your own drawing materials. This is a self-directed gathering rather than a class, and no instruction will be provided. On weekends, building entrances are locked. Use the back entrance on the south side so you can be seen and let into the life drawing area. If you reach the front entrance, go right to the end of the building, then turn left around the corner to access the rear entrance. Respectful participation is essential. Do not photograph others without permission. If your artwork includes someone with recognizable features, do not share it on social media unless that person agrees. Nudity is not allowed.
