NCW Libraries brings its Bookmobile to Foothills Community Center for regular visits. Browse and borrow books, sign up for a library card, and get help setting up e-services. Friendly staff are on hand for tech support. The Bookmobile is ADA accessible with a wheelchair lift. Ongoing community participation helps keep this stop on the route.

Presented by Banner Bank, the 32nd Annual Building NCW Home Tour highlights a handpicked mix of newly built and expertly renovated homes across the Wenatchee Valley. Organized as a self-guided route, it showcases ideas for home design and remodeling, from floor plans and finishes to materials choices and energy-saving solutions, with opportunities to meet the local builders, designers, suppliers, and tradespeople behind the work. Whether the goal is to build, update, or purchase a home, or simply to enjoy thoughtful design, this three-day showcase emphasizes local craftsmanship and practical inspiration.

Set around the WVC fountain, the 5th Annual Food Truck Knight features a lineup of food trucks and live entertainment. Presented by Numerica Credit Union, the event supports the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation and its mission to expand access to education and invest in student success.

The library hosts a chess club on the first and third Friday of every month. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and beginners can receive guidance on the basics.

While you listen, explore the market’s many eateries, shops, and local vendors, and take in riverfront views. The setting is family friendly and a relaxed place to gather with friends in downtown Wenatchee.

A weather-dependent, late-season trek through the Enchantments is being planned with the goal of enjoying autumn weather and scenery. A camping permit was not obtained this year, but the plan remains to experience the area’s fall sights.

Folk singer songwriter Brittany Jean brings her heartfelt music to the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market, a place she says she loves and has even woven into lyrics about singing for bread and flowers. Based in a small apple town along the Columbia River in Washington, she has carried her songs far and wide, from the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to opening for Three Dog Night at a sold-out New York City concert. She has released six studio albums and an EP, all recorded in Nashville, with songs from her sixth album recognized as finalists in the International Acoustic Music Awards. A seventh album is underway. Her storytelling moves from golden sunflower fields and the Irish coast to untamed hearts and a secluded northern cabin, with love at the center of every song.

Build woodworking confidence at the lathe by creating a custom wooden handle for a garden trowel. This hands-on class teaches the essentials of turning, shaping, sanding, and finishing, guiding participants from a blank to a smooth, personalized handle. The project is set up to be completed in one hour, and everyone leaves with a finished trowel ready for the garden or for gifting. Tuition is $80, with an additional $24.99 materials fee.

Create a personalized cribbage board at NCW Woodshop. Choose your hardwood pieces, glue the board together, bore 391 peg holes, and pick up sanding and finishing techniques along the way. Enjoy a sip and friendly conversation as you work, then head out with a handmade board, pegs included and ready to play.

One Piece card play takes center stage at Trading Card Gallery. Bring your deck to compete for prizes, connect with other players, and enjoy a fun atmosphere. Trading Card Gallery is officially designated by Bandai TCG+.

Turn date night into a creative experience with a hands-on woodworking class dedicated to making custom kitchen utensils. Across two and a half hours, participants select a design, cut it using saws, then sand and finish their pieces with food-safe oil. No prior experience is required and all materials are included. Leave with handmade spatulas or serving tools along with a shared memory. After the class, the plan is to head to Yonder for a pint of cider. The cost is $70. Class size is limited to 8 and advance registration is requested.

Rescue Rocks brings a night of purpose to Leavenworth Festhalle with food, drinks, lively auctions, and a performance by The Afterparty, a top Seattle cover band. Proceeds from tickets, bids, and donations power lifesaving programs that help pets and the people who love them across Eastern Washington. Over the past three years, TOAR has completed more than 4,800 free spay and neuter surgeries, distributed over 300,000 pounds of pet food and supplies to help keep animals in their homes, invested $92,000 in emergency veterinary care, vaccines, and other critical support, and transferred more than 1,000 animals to trusted partners for a second chance. It is an evening where music and generosity come together to create lasting, measurable impact for animals in need.

A weekly ukulele gathering offers a relaxed strumming session, with the option to arrange a private one-on-one lesson with volunteer instructor Sandy. Group time centers on making music together, while individual lessons provide tailored guidance. Advance registration is required for private lessons.
