The gathering is free, and registration is required. An Adjustable Saddle Experience showcases systems from DP Saddlery, EDIX, Bates, Arena, and Wintec. Guests can see how different adjustment mechanisms work, feel various types of wool and flocking, compare girth shapes, examine pads and shimming options, and learn more about the elements that go into proper saddle fitting. To keep the experience personal, two small group sessions are offered, each limited to 15 people. Visitors will also get an early look at the space that will host future Bucking Belgian workshops on topics such as adjustable saddles, preparing trail bags, saddle fit fundamentals, pads, and girths. Important details: This is an educational and saddle fitting space rather than a retail tack shop, and saddles are only available for purchase through the Bucking Belgian Saddle Fitting process. Every Wednesday, participate in making poppies over coffee. The Senior Center is collaborating with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 10 to create poppies during the weekly coffee hour.
