Casa Sueño shares the stage with Stereo Donkey for an adventurous bill. Casa Sueño brings together guitarist Mike Baggetta, drummer John Herndon, and bassist Mike Watt, with roots in mssv, Psychic Temple, Tortoise, Isotope 217, Minutemen, and the Stooges. Formed to record their debut 7-inch House of Dreams for Nomad Eel Records, the trio is embarking on its first run of shows across the West Coast, Mexico, and Canada. Their name nods to La Monte Young and Marian Zazeela’s long-running New York City drone installation, and the music blends bold improvisation, expansive grooves, and psychedelic song forms. Sharing the bill is Stereo Donkey, featuring Hiro Yamamoto of Soundgarden. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 on the day of the show.

Industrial metal takes center stage as Combichrist brings the ferocity of Andy LaPlegua’s long-running project to the stage. Founded in 2003, the act has shifted from beat-driven electronics to a guitar-forward onslaught, with LaPlegua crafting the studio sound and a rotating live lineup delivering it in person. Sharing the bill, Ludovico Technique weaves gothic ambience, industrial bite, darkwave textures, and alternative metal under the direction of Ben V., who is joined onstage by a touring group of masked players. Dead Animal Assembly Plant adds a Portland-born barrage of heavy industrial rock fused with macabre, post apocalyptic theatrics. Expect an intense night of pounding rhythms and shadowy atmosphere.

Dimitriou's Jazz Alley hosts Isaiah Collier with Davis Whitfiled on piano, Conway Campbell on bass, and Tim Regis on drums. A South Side Chicago native, Collier is a composer, arranger, educator, and what he calls a "Sonic Scientist," recognized as a leading voice in contemporary jazz. His work has earned a Steve Jobs Archive Fellowship, Chicagoan of the Year in Jazz honors for 2024, a DownBeat Magazine cover feature, inclusion on The New York Times list of the year’s best jazz albums, and a spotlight on NPR’s Jazz Night in America for his suite The Story of 400 Years. He has also received a DownBeat Critics Poll award and was named Up and Coming Artist of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association. Collier blends deep tradition with present-day urgency to shape a forward-looking sound and is known as both a bold improviser and a dedicated craftsman. His collaborators include Kahil El'Zabar, Ambrose Akinmusire, Craig Taborn, Joe Dyson, Azar Lawrence, NEA Jazz Masters Billy Hart and Marshall Allen, Denardo Coleman, Nicole Mitchell, Randy Brecker, Billy Harper, Marquis Hill, and Makaya McCraven. A member of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians and leader of The Chosen Few, he carries forward Chicago’s storied tenor saxophone lineage with a balance of reverence and innovation.

Maya de Vitry is a Nashville-based artist who began as a fiddler and grew into a songwriter with a voice that shifts gracefully from gentle to powerful. Raised amid the landscapes of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, she first made her mark with the Americana trio The Stray Birds, releasing four full-length albums and two EPs while touring year-round across the United States, Canada, and Europe for seven years. She opened her solo chapter with the 2019 album Adaptations, earning recognition from outlets such as Rolling Stone Country, NPR Music, and No Depression. Her body of work since includes the albums How to Break a Fall in 2020, Violet Light in 2022, and The Only Moment in 2024, along with the Infinite EP in 2023 and a run of singles that highlight ongoing reinvention and creative growth.

Steeplechase brings together Hanz Araki on flutes and vocals, Zach Bauman on bouzouki, Sam Vogt on guitar and whistle, and David Lofgren on bodhrán for a lively program of traditional songs and tunes rooted in Ireland and Scotland, with influences that stretch farther afield. The band took shape through Irish music sessions, where an easy musical chemistry led them to perform as a group. Three of the four members have ties to Maine, and all now make music in the northwest corner of the United States. Each artist brings deep folk experience to the ensemble’s sound. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $25 for Celtic Arts Foundation members. Refreshments will be available for purchase. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
