Poets share original work sparked by the artworks on view in the Esther Webster Gallery, creating a lively exchange between images and language. Entry is free with optional donations.

Now in its second year, this volunteer crew sets out to beautify the Waterfront District, beginning at the Fountain and then moving along nearby streets. Efforts center on pulling weeds from planter beds, tree wells, sidewalk cracks, and curb edges, as well as clearing moss, scrubbing algae-stained concrete, and removing neglected messes that block the way. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves and, if possible, personal tools, since shared supplies can run short. If the weather is poor, the outing is canceled. Those who arrive later may need to look for the group somewhere along the Waterfront District rather than at the starting spot.
