Walk on the Beach | Summer Pinball Series

2820 Alki Ave SW, Seattle · verified Aug 2
    See details

Walk on the Beach is a summer pinball series that plays out across two Alki arcades, Gary's Place and West Seattle Arcade. Both rooms run on the same night, and players stroll between them to choose machines. Check in takes place at Gary's Place. It is five dollars per night and all ages are welcome. Newcomers to competitive pinball are welcome. Each night features pick your game head to head matches, with choices available at either location. Play runs up to five rounds with two games per round. A single game win earns one point, winning both games in a round earns three. Extra balls are limited to thirty seconds of play. You cannot select the same game twice in a night, and you cannot choose a machine that is already in use. The top three finishers receive payouts each night. Points accumulate over the series, and only your best five nights count toward the standings, so missing a week does not set you back. The top half of the leaderboard advances to the Series Finals. The finals prize pool grows by five dollars per player every night across the season. You can jump in any week and let your strongest showings do the work.
