Enjoy a free, friendly crafting get together focused on conversation and creativity. Bring any project you like for a couple of hours of making and mingling, or try the featured technique, heat transfer vinyl. Supplies will be available to personalize a potholder or a zipper pouch with heat transfer vinyl. Tea, cocoa, cider, and a selection of snacks will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring something to share. Free outdoor movies return to Seattle Center this summer with Movies at the Mural, presented by Prime Video. On Sundays, ToDos Bike Garage offers a volunteer-run bike repair co-op where people can work on their bikes with community support. Basic tools are available, and guidance is provided to help you learn maintenance skills while handling tune-ups and flat fixes together. There is no fee to work on your own bike. Some parts are on hand, and you may need to purchase specific items if they are not available. Discover the marine life that inhabits local beaches and learn how clean, protected waters support people and wildlife in the neighborhood. Wear closed-toe shoes suited for rocky terrain, bring sun protection, and carry water for warm weather. Limited free parking for up to two hours is available north of the ferry dock in the lower marina lot and in the public park area on the landward side of the ferry loading dock. WSU Extension programs welcome all participants without discrimination, and reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and special needs can be arranged with at least two weeks’ notice.

This free King County community repair event at Bellevue Library welcomes people to bring small household items and clothing for volunteer repairers to assess and, when possible, fix or mend. Assistance is offered on a first come, first served basis for each person’s first item, with second items considered after everyone has had a turn. Typical projects include small appliances and electronics, lamps, vacuums, toys, electric power tools, small furniture such as chairs and drawers, jewelry, and textiles like clothing. Organizers may decline an item in advance or at the event based on the repair needed, the volunteers available, or other factors. Please note the limits: no gasoline-powered equipment, no cell phones, tablets, or microwaves, no knife or tool sharpening, no lengthy reconstructive work, and no major clothing alterations. Items should be reasonably clean, including garments, fans, and vacuums.

Parking is available at Lighthouse Park, and city-paid parking is enforced, so watch for posted signs. Do not use the commuter lot near Diamond Knot or the boat launch spaces. Mukilteo residents can obtain a free parking pass from the city for Lighthouse Park.

Presented by Artists at the Center, this free listening party spotlights hi hi hi at the Mural Amphitheatre. The Seattle-based trio formed in 2023 through late-night karaoke and connections in the International District, creating indie rock that blends eras and styles. Their sound moves from 1960s surf to riot grrrl to 90s alternative and more, reflecting an evolving sense of home. The lineup features guitarist and vocalist Le-Vy Nguyen, bassist and vocalist Jon Chu, and drummer Shaun Mejia. Artists at the Center is a long-term collaboration between the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Center, supported by the Uptown Arts & Culture Coalition and nearby communities, and made possible by a ten-year grant from Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Kraken. The series highlights both emerging and established artists, offering performance opportunities that connect them with new audiences and support their growth. Visitors encounter pop-up performances around the Seattle Center campus throughout the year, with artist selection guided by an equity and social justice focus across music, dance, theater, demonstrations, and multidisciplinary work.
