    SIDE TWO in concert

River Falls, WI / 232 W Maple St, River Falls, WI 54022, 232 W Maple St, River Falls · verified Sep 13
    See details

SIDE TWO delivers a live show that feels like flipping to the other side of a favorite tape, racing across decades and styles while keeping the room moving. The set threads together grunge, alternative, classic rock, dance, pop, country, metal, and Brit pop, shifting gears with intent and drive. Shout-along moments land with Alive, Man in the Box, and Monkey Wrench, then slide into the glow of Dancing in the Dark, I Ran, and Hungry Like the Wolf. 90s mainstays such as Mr. Brightside, The Middle, Hey Jealousy, and What I Got share space with longtime favorites American Girl, Sweet Caroline, Born to Be Wild, and Sharp Dressed Man. The crunch of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Tool meets pop sparkle in Straight Up, Time After Time, and Stacy’s Mom. Classic rock landmarks Rocket Man, Surrender, and All Right Now sit next to punk and alt energy like Song 2, Come Out and Play, and Sabotage. Country standards Ring of Fire, On the Road Again, and Country Roads round it out. The contrast is the point, mixing surprise picks with guilty pleasures and the sing-alongs people forgot they loved, building toward a finish that leaves the crowd calling for one more song.
