New players can keep the demo decks they use, while supplies last. This free session welcomes anyone ready to learn.

Returning for a third year, this celebration of aviation, cars, and motorcycles is bigger than ever and now a full airshow. Attendees can look forward to vintage aircraft rides and displays, a massive car and motorcycle show, live music and entertainment, hot air balloons, skydivers, fireworks, vendors, a kids zone, and more. For the first time, a full airshow performance lineup is coming to Janesville. More details, performer announcements, and ticket information will be released throughout the year. It is shaping up to be the biggest aviation event in Southern Wisconsin.

Music at Harry’s Place brings live music to the Harry C. Moore Pavilion stage in Riverside Park, a summertime Beloit tradition made possible by sponsors who present ten free concerts. This concert features Rainbow Bridge, a band formed in 1976 that has performed steadily since then. The set spans classic rock, Top 40, current and classic country, oldies and more.

5BAR and the Beloit Sky Carp present corgi races that celebrate short legs and big personality. Entering a corgi comes with a complimentary 5BAR drink token, and competitors have a chance to take home a playful medal. Half an hour before the race, 5BAR runs a pop up bar during Tuesday home games with a Sky Carp inspired drink menu. After the finish, enjoy the Sky Carp game, which is open to all dogs.

The New Life Food Pantry offers free groceries to the public with a simple drive-up process. Line up in your vehicle and food will be delivered to you, and those without a car may walk up. Service is available only during the pantry’s Tuesday hours. Please bring a photo ID. There is no requirement to live in Rock County and no proof of income is needed, and visitors may return weekly. Offerings change from week to week and can include items like fresh produce, dairy, eggs, milk, bread, meat, canned vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, and other frozen or shelf-stable goods. The pantry operates at New Life Assembly of God Church.
