Their new Joyful Little Brass Band kicks off each performance, and the Joyful Little Band adds music before the show and during intermission. The story follows Rosalind, who leaves a troubled court in disguise as Ganymede and ventures into the Forest of Arden with her cousin Celia and the fool Touchstone. There she encounters Orlando, who decorates the trees with love verses to her, while unknowingly receiving advice from Rosalind herself in disguise. Affection, mistaken identities, and good humor unfold among exiles beneath the trees. An opening banquet is planned, featuring a NOLA style barbecue menu catered by UWSP, live entertainment by the Joyful Little Band, and a cash bar. Banquet tickets are $40. Performance tickets are $22 for adults, $17 for seniors 55 and older and children 12 and under, and $11 for veterans. Guests may bring seat cushions or reasonably sized chairs. Non-alcoholic beverages and food are welcome, and all carry-ins must be properly disposed of.
