Now in its eighth year, the Holiday Automotive Cruise-In Car Show brings car enthusiasts together at the Holiday Budget Center for music, food available for purchase, and rows of collector cars. Admission and vehicle entry are free, and the show welcomes all years, makes, and models. Pre-registration is available, and the event is open to anyone who enjoys cars.

Explore the arboretum, the prairie, and the ponds on a relaxed tour that highlights seasonal changes and local habitats. Each tour begins at the Shelter in the east parking lot adjacent to the Fond du Lac County Campus and lasts about an hour. Held on the second Saturday of each month, these walks offer something new to discover every time.

Head to Ledgerock Distillery for the Ledgerock and Campbellsport FFA Alumni Annual Car Show, a fun, family-friendly day for classic car lovers and anyone who wants to check out the vehicles. Car show registration begins at 10:00 AM, with a $5 registration fee and a cash drawing at 4:00 PM. Music runs from noon to 4:00 PM, and the Campbellsport FFA Alumni will be serving food. There will also be honey extraction from the Ledgerock hives, and honey will be available for purchase.

After every Saturday home game, kids can take the field to run the bases during Post-Game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Grande Cheese and A&W. A line of player high-fives awaits at home plate, and each participant receives a treat from A&W.

This hands-on class invites young artists to mold and shape air dry clay as they craft an original piece. From playful creatures to personal keepsakes, each participant creates something unique to take home and enjoy. No experience is required, just creativity and a readiness for fun.

This series of garden days is open to everyone. Different sessions feature Mrs. Miller and Ms. Wanta, staff from Riverside, and Ms. Pokorny and Ms. Hughes.

Hosted by The Friends of Lakeside Park, this volunteer trash cleanup invites the community to help keep the park litter free. Volunteers gather on Oven Island near the Main Shelter to pick up trash using supplies provided by the organizers, including gloves, grabbers, and bags. The cleanup is family friendly and open to all ages, and it is suitable for individuals or groups seeking volunteer credits, with verification forms available at the event. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No preregistration is required.

A free four-week youth cross country series takes place at Theisen Middle School, welcoming students entering grade 8 and below from any school district. The event is open to the public and encourages participation regardless of other sports. Same-day registration is the only sign-up and covers the entire series, and returning runners should check in each week at the registration table before their race. The registration area is set up on the east side of the building near the east parking lot, with an indoor option just inside door 9 if weather requires it. All races are run on grass on the east side of the campus and around the football field, with the start and finish positioned by the east parking lot, and volunteers are on hand to help. Race distances are organized by grade level, with pre-kindergarten and kindergarten covering one-eighth mile, grades 1 through 3 running one-quarter mile, grades 4 through 6 completing one-half mile, and grades 7 and 8 taking on three-quarters of a mile. Every participant is timed, finishers receive a place card to return at registration for accurate results, and a participation award is provided each week. Water is available for runners and spectators.

Enjoy four full days of flying radio controlled aircraft. Thursday through Saturday feature giant warbirds and classic aircraft, and Sunday is open to any size aircraft as a FunFly day.

Downtown Fond du Lac’s THELMA Thursdays concert series brings live music to the heart of the city, and this edition features The Britins. This Wisconsin-based tribute band honors the British Invasion, capturing the look and sound of the 1960s with vintage instruments, period attire, and polished vocal blend. The set showcases classics popularized by artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Kinks, offering lively energy, sing-along moments, and nostalgia that connects with all ages. The outdoor atmosphere encourages both relaxed listening and plenty of dancing. Lawn chairs are permitted, drinks are available from the bar, and the event is presented by FVSBank with the stage provided by Marian University.
