Autism Equine Camp invites autistic children to connect with horses while building confidence through hands-on activities. Participants meet, groom, and lead horses, explore sensory stations, create barn-themed crafts, play games, and use a riding simulator before taking a turn on a real horse. Instruction is provided by certified professionals, an occupational therapist, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, with experiences tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. BEAMING RanchMUD ON MAIN Camp (Ages 7-10)
Designed for ages 7 to 10, this single day Skills Camp at Mud on Main centers on clay fundamentals. Campers split their creative time between handbuilding and work on the pottery wheel, building confidence in core techniques while shaping projects guided by their interests. Expect two to three themed pieces by the end of the session. Some activities may take place outside, so dressing for the weather is recommended. The fee is $72, with an optional $12 lunch add on or the option to bring a packed meal. Bringing a water bottle is encouraged. Project selections may change based on materials, and certain pieces will be fired and finished later. Participants can return to paint and complete those items once they are ready.
Fire EscapeToddle Time Storytime (ages 12-24 months)
A playful storytime created for toddlers 12 to 24 months and their caregivers features reading, music, movement, and time for free play to support early development. Each session includes a book, lively bounces and rhymes, plus practical tips for parents and caregivers. Begin your embroidery journey with a three-part beginner series that meets once a month. Each session introduces a few stitches that build toward a Bouquet of Flowers design on linen. Every participant receives a starter kit with linen, an embroidery hoop, a needle, a marking pen, scissors, and threads. Instruction is led by Sandy Joch, a retired Home Economics teacher, who will guide you in creating a couple of flowers each month. After each class, take your project home to practice before the next session. By the end of the third class, your bouquet will be complete. This program is free and open to ages 12 and up. The JambHistorical Walking Tour
Trace the layers of Oshkosh history on a guided stroll through downtown, where the stories behind storefronts, saloons, scandals, and successes come to life. Led by the Winnebago County Historical Society, this walk explores the people, places, and moments that shaped the city. Along the route, hear about a notorious saloon and betting den, a dramatic custody case from the 1850s, trailblazing women physicians and the advent of early X-ray technology, and an early auto showroom connected to stories known across the country. The path covers about 1.3 miles and lasts around two and a half hours. After the tour, guests can enjoy pie and ice cream at the historic Morgan House.

Opera House Square in downtown Oshkosh hosts a weekly Music on Main concert series with free live performances by local and regional artists. The schedule blends blues, jazz, country, brass band, rock, and more, with artists such as Reverend Raven with West Side Andy, Water City Jazz Orchestra, Grand Union, and Janet Planet appearing alongside many others. Ants Marching brings a tribute to the music of Dave Matthews to Shattuck Park as part of the Future Neenah Evening Concert Series presented by Richard and Amy Jo Aylward. Admission is free thanks to Alta Resources. Expect faithful takes on favorite songs from the Dave Matthews catalog performed by a skilled ensemble. Per City of Neenah ordinance, alcohol is not permitted at the park. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Kickin’ Ash BBQ, The Wandering Table, Grazing a Go Go, and Crazy Sweet. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Free parking is available on Wisconsin Ave, in tower lots, and in a city surface lot. If weather becomes a concern, the performance will be relocated indoors to the DoubleTree Neenah Hotel. Shattuck ParkStitching After Hours, Exploring Needlework tradtions & techniques
Explore traditional and contemporary hand stitching in a flexible workshop series that lets you choose the type and format of your project. Register for a single session or opt for a punch card to work through multiple projects at your own pace. One session offerings include creating a slow stitched embroidery broach or magnet from fabric scraps and embellishments, crafting a slow stitched needle case that is both useful and decorative, and making a Sashiko pin cushion while learning foundational stitches. Two session projects include building a soft sided slow stitched fabric container and designing a customizable sewing kit or multi purpose stitched case. An ongoing visible mending and embroidery enhancement option focuses on Boro and Sashiko inspired methods to repair, reinforce, and decorate garments with decorative stitching and patches. Participants in the visible mending session should bring one clothing or cloth item, for example a canvas tote. Materials for that session include Sashiko templates, patch fabric, needles, and thread. For all other workshops, materials and instruction are provided, with possible supplies such as fabric scraps, Sashiko thread and templates, embroidery floss, beads, buttons, lace, scissors, and sewing needles. Prices are $12 for a one session workshop, $20 for a two session workshop, $50 for a five session punch card, and $90 for a ten session punch card. If a project is not finished within the initial sessions, participants may return to one or two future sessions to continue. Punch cards can be used for one and two session workshops, and card holders may begin new projects as they use remaining punches. Registration is online only.

Mud On Main by Fire Escape is offering a studio assistant camp that gives ages 10 to 14 a mini internship experience in Downtown Oshkosh. Participants begin by learning the full clay process and how staff support customer creations. The day-to-day tasks change, much like they do for employees, and can include assisting with customer projects, refilling paint, making a name tag, and cleaning tools and tables, which is similar to a restaurant setting. Each session is limited to 2 or 3 campers who shadow a dedicated employee acting as extra staff, providing individualized attention and a look behind the scenes. The cost is $48. Fees include a National POA fee of $21 per pony, a Wisconsin State POA fee of $12 per pony, and a $10 show office fee per horse. Regular classes are $15 per class, or choose a $255 all-weekend option per pony and rider that covers class entry fees only. Futurity entries are $30 per class at the early rate or $40 per class at the late rate. For classes that run at the same time as the futurity, exhibitors must enter and pay both the regular class fee and the futurity fee. Stalling is $80 per pony stall and $80 per tack stall, each including two bags of shavings, with additional shavings available for $8 per bag. Ponies staying overnight must be stalled, and extra shavings should be requested in advance on entry forms. Camping is available at $35 per night with electrical service or $25 per night without, and a haul in or tie out option is $15 per day. Explore needlework traditions and techniques in a flexible workshop series where participants choose the project type and format while learning both classic and modern hand stitching. Register for a single session or use a punch card to move through multiple projects at a comfortable pace. Single session options include creating a small wearable or display piece from fabric scraps with embroidery and embellishments, sewing a hand stitched needle case, or practicing Sashiko while making a practical pin cushion. Two session projects offer the chance to build a soft sided fabric container through slow stitching, or design a customizable case for sewing tools or other uses. An ongoing option focuses on Boro and Sashiko inspired visible mending and decorative stitching to refresh well loved garments with repaired and reinforced areas. For the visible mending option, bring one clothing or cloth item to repair or embellish. Materials such as Sashiko templates, patch fabric, needles, and thread are provided. For other workshops, materials and instruction are included, with supplies that may include fabric scraps, Sashiko thread and templates, embroidery floss, beads, buttons, lace, scissors, and sewing needles. Registration is online only. Pricing is $12 for a one session workshop, $20 for a two session workshop, $50 for a five session punch card, and $90 for a ten session punch card. If a project is not finished within the initial sessions, participants can return to future sessions to continue. Punch cards are valid for one and two session workshops, and holders may start new projects as they use remaining punches.
