Downtown Racine celebrates First Fridays with a Scoop the Loop throwback theme that honors the cruising tradition where teenagers showcased their cars by looping through the heart of the city. All the Kings Men perform on Monument Square, a classic car show takes place on Sam Johnson Prky, and a Creative Crawl spans more than ten businesses with live artist demonstrations. Retro themed specials appear throughout downtown, and live music fills more than ten locations, including Divino Gelato, Bridge Tender Tavern, Marci's on Main, Reefpoint Brew House, Chartroom, Smoke'd on the Water, and others. Merchants, restaurants, and bars elevate the experience with expanded shopping and dining offerings. Parking is available at Lake Avenue Ramp, Civic Centre Ramp, and Shoop for an all day rate of $4.

Presented by the Downtown Racine Corporation, this free concert series brings live music to Monument Square with performances from local bands in a variety of genres. A free, two-day community festival at the Pennoyer Park Bandshell fills the weekend with high-energy sets from live DJs, a wide range of entertainment, food and drinks, and a lively summer atmosphere. The event raises funds for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in support of the fight against pediatric cancer. Expect vendors and local businesses, a family-friendly atmosphere, interactive experiences, giveaways and special experiences, with additional announcements, lineup reveals and major surprises still to come. What began as a passion project has grown into a community movement centered on music, connection and giving back. Since 2011, more than $11,886 has been raised for pediatric cancer research, and the effort continues.

Route 66 Belle City Band brings classic rock and roll to the stage as the Bristol Woodstock series wraps up at Bristol Woods County Park. This closing performance caps a summer of music in the park.
