Marking its 65th year, this futurity show features a full slate of competition with 29 POA futurity classes and 17 all-breed futurity and jackpot classes, with cash awards available. The regular showbill is restricted to ponies registered with POA. Judges for the show are Todd Foltz, Nell Tekampe, and Kirsten Mellenberger. Fees include a National POA fee of $21 per pony, a Wisconsin State POA fee of $12 per pony, and a $10 show office fee per horse. Regular classes are $15 per class, or choose a $255 all-weekend option per pony and rider that covers class entry fees only. Futurity entries are $30 per class at the early rate or $40 per class at the late rate. For classes that run at the same time as the futurity, exhibitors must enter and pay both the regular class fee and the futurity fee. Stalling is $80 per pony stall and $80 per tack stall, each including two bags of shavings, with additional shavings available for $8 per bag. Ponies staying overnight must be stalled, and extra shavings should be requested in advance on entry forms. Camping is available at $35 per night with electrical service or $25 per night without, and a haul in or tie out option is $15 per day. WCCS 4.0 is a family friendly, Christ centered car show at Wyldewood Baptist Church. The showcase welcomes vehicles from the earliest years of motoring to modern models, along with trucks and vintage tractors. Mud on Main offers weeklong camps where participants create a variety of art projects, working primarily with clay and occasionally paint. Two tracks are available. A skills-focused clay camp develops hand-building and wheel throwing abilities. Hand-building explores projects such as pinch pots, coil-built forms, and sculpture techniques. On the wheel, campers practice using tools and work on height and shaping. Guided brainstorming and goal setting help participants shape projects around their interests. The game-making camp invites campers to reinvent favorite games using mostly clay along with other materials. Projects can include classics like tic tac toe, puzzles, and checkers or chess. Campers connect with Adventure Games and Hobby to explore different game styles and world building tips, then design and build a custom board game or world. Each camper receives a laser-cut board in a chosen style with supplies to bring the idea to life, supported by brainstorming activities throughout the week. The week is dedicated to creating art and developing designs for experiments. The camp fee is $292. An optional lunch add-on is available for $12 for any number of camp days, or campers may bring their own. When weather allows, lunch is enjoyed outdoors. Bringing a water bottle is encouraged. Age recommendations vary by camp and session, with options that include 7 to 17 and 10 to 17.

Created for children ages 7 and 8, this Menominee Park Zoo Kids Camp invites young explorers to dive into nature and wildlife while learning about conservation. Guided by experienced educators and zoo staff, campers connect with animals and habitats through hands-on activities that build curiosity, confidence, and friendships. Sessions may include a full zoo tour followed by making enrichment items for animals and seeing them in action, an introduction to daily animal care and wellness, meet and greets with animal ambassadors paired with a read-aloud and a themed craft, a look at how keepers plan and prepare balanced diets, interactive lessons on the adaptations animals use to thrive, and a track-focused adventure that teaches kids to spot and create prints while playing nature-themed games. Each session is $25, and registration can be for as many or as few sessions as desired. Registration includes a drawstring backpack, a T-shirt, a water bottle, and a snack.

Travel back to the Victorian era during a lively two-hour program at the Morgan House Museum created for students ages 9 to 12. The experience begins with a guided tour of the historic home, then moves into hands-on discovery. Participants make ice cream using a recipe from Lamer’s Dairy, create sun print art, and track down clues in a historical scavenger hunt. It blends learning, creativity, and exploration to bring the past vividly to life.

This internship-style camp at Fire Escape offers a hands-on look at what working in the studio is like in Oshkosh. Designed for ages 10 to 14, it places a very small group with a staff mentor for focused, behind-the-scenes learning. Campers get an introduction to the kiln and how finished pieces are unloaded, then try real studio tasks such as assisting with customer pickups, refilling paint, making a personalized name tag, and keeping brushes and tables clean, similar to restaurant side work. Attendance is limited to two or three participants so the on-duty employee can provide individual guidance and share how daily operations run. The cost is $48, and participants should bring a lunch or snack.

Fire Escape presents a single day Magic Book Garden art camp for ages 8 and up, limited to 18 campers. Participants will complete two to three guided projects inspired by storybook worlds and hidden gardens, such as making a personalized bookmark holder and creating a butterfly lantern. A lunch break is included, and the final hour is dedicated to Makers Hour, when campers use provided supplies to bring their own ideas to life. Those attending multiple sessions may carry Makers Hour pieces from one camp to the next. The fee is $72 per camper, with an optional $12 lunch add-on or the choice to bring a packed meal.
