The September Rock and Mineral show features the Barlow Mobile Planetarium as a special attraction. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be one presentation in the morning and another in the afternoon, with limited seating. There is no additional cost for attendees, and donations are appreciated.

Grassroots Uprising brings mutual aid organizations from Fond du Lac to Green Bay to Opera House Square for a free, public market focused on sharing help, gathering support, and building connections next to the Oshkosh Farmer’s Market. Attendees can discover local resources available without restrictions or fees, offer support to groups that operate without government funding through donations, wishlist items, or volunteer time, and see organizations connect with one another to share resources and collaborate on projects. This market features a Craft Supplies and Small Artwork/Home Decor swap, with exchanges limited to items about the size of a paper grocery bag or smaller. Held monthly from May through October with rotating swap themes, the lineup of participating organizations and any special activities may vary each time.

Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods partners with Sometimes at Pioneer Island for a Good Neighbor Day celebration focused on community connection. Enjoy music, try some games, and purchase food from a food truck. The Block Party Trailer will be part of the activities. Ten percent of sales supports Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods, funding Good Neighbor Grants and community building and engagement events.
