A distinctive Door County farmers market brings together 20 categories of vendors over the season, showcasing artisan and homemade goods, locally grown vegetables, baked treats, cheeses, fresh-cut flowers, and more. This year, the market sets up on the north side of the Baileys Harbor Town Hall lawn, offering the familiar experience in a new corner of the grounds. Once the town lawn project wraps up, it will return to its usual place on the property’s main lawn.

The Yoga Womb celebrates two years with a studio gathering that caps an eight-day period when every scheduled class is free to everyone and a silent auction runs throughout. The celebration offers light refreshments and complimentary henna, along with chances to learn about yoga, pilates, and meditation. It also includes a final window to bid on auction items, a brief ceremony honoring Hope Blueberry, and the announcement of auction winners. This milestone reflects a mission begun in 2024 to make the healing practices of yoga and meditation more accessible. Over the past year, The Yoga Womb increased Hope Blueberry Scholarships from 10 to 12 recipients, provided weekly no-cost trauma-informed yoga, a meditation class, and a sobriety circle, welcomed large turnouts at Yoga in the Park with some weeks exceeding 50 participants, taught monthly at Sunrise Elementary, offered multiple community classes at no cost, and continued a Behavioral Health prescription program that enables therapists to prescribe yoga and meditation.

This family-friendly evening at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay features trick-or-treating along luminary-lit trails lined with jack-o’-lanterns carved by community members. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. No registration is required, and admission is free to the public with support from sponsors.

The Sturgeon Bay Repair Cafe brings together volunteer repair coaches to help community members give their belongings a second life. Visitors can receive guidance and hands-on assistance with wood items, clothing mends, leather goods, small electrical appliances or lamps, knife sharpening, and jewelry repairs. Some months may also feature bicycle and book repairs, along with welding. This volunteer-led gathering is free and open to the public. Sustain Door serves as the fiscal agent, allowing donations to help cover costs, and those who are able are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for a local pantry.
