Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute brings ABBA’s beloved catalog to life with precise musicianship, vivid style, and a lead duo honoring Agnetha and Frida. As the Midwest’s long-running resident ABBA tribute, the show pulls from a setlist of more than 40 hits, encouraging plenty of singing and dancing to favorites like Waterloo, Mamma Mia, S.O.S., Knowing Me, Knowing You, Honey, Honey, and Voulez-Vous. Tickets are priced from $16 to $50 plus tax and fees. VIP Table Seat Tickets include a dedicated server, an official VIP lanyard, one bucket with six domestic beers or a bottle of wine, and a meet and greet after the show. Participants build a 16 inch hand drum from start to finish, learning how to stretch and lace the hide and craft a matching beater while engaging with the materials in a mindful, ceremonial setting. The experience emphasizes breath, connection, and the deeper relationship between maker and instrument. Drumming is presented as a support for meditation and shamanic journeys. The fee is $200 and covers all materials, including a 16 inch hoop, ethically sourced hide, lacing, and beater supplies. Hide options include buffalo, deer, elk, horse, and bear, with bear available for an additional $50. Quantities are limited and specific hide selections are not guaranteed. Class size is limited. At Washington Park, a community car and motorcycle show welcomes spectators at no cost, with European makes taking center stage. Participants entering a vehicle pay a $10 cash-only fee, and proceeds support local children. Throughout the event there will be periodic demonstrations by Lakeshore FIRST Robotics, live music from the Manitowoc Marine Band, and a concluding awards ceremony. Trophies are presented across all categories, with judging handled by the vehicle owners, and the first 200 registered cars and motorcycles receive dash plaques. Classes cover a wide range, including antique automobiles built before 1946, stock cars grouped by era from 1946 into the present, and modified cars organized as pre-1946, 1946 to 1970, and 1971 to present. Truck categories include stock models from 1900 to 1970 and from 1971 to present, plus modified trucks of any year. There are also dedicated groups for Corvettes, Mustangs, sports cars, and foreign makes, along with motorcycles categorized as antique, stock, and modified. Antique motorcycles span 1900 to 1970, while stock motorcycle entries run from 1971 to the present.

Al-Anon Meeting
An Al-Anon meeting that provides peer support for people affected by someone else’s drinking. Participants meet as equals and share personal experiences to find understanding and encouragement. Attendees may be coping with a spouse or partner who drinks, or a parent, child, grandchild, sibling, friend, or another relative. Some have more than one loved one struggling with alcohol. Newcomers often look for situations similar to their own, and over time come to see the benefit of learning how Al-Anon principles can help across many different circumstances.

Early in their journey, members collaborated with Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen to help organize a fan convention in Las Vegas that supported his Raven Drum Foundation, drawing coverage from MTV and VH1, with Def Leppard promoting the event on their website. Their performance history spans casinos, parks, cruise ships, and major stages, including Summerfest in Milwaukee, New Year’s Eve on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, and the Monsters on the Mountain festival presented by Monsters of Rock Cruises. Some members have also performed and recorded with Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell. Bank First hosts a free community paper shredding event in Two Rivers that is open to the public. For each bag of personal documents to be shredded, participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food donation, with all contributions going directly to area food pantries. The event will take place rain or shine, and attendees may watch the shredding process for added peace of mind. Confidential Records, an AAA certified shredding company, will be on site with mobile units and licensed, bonded specialists to securely destroy personal and confidential materials and ensure their proper removal. To keep space available for community residents, businesses are asked not to participate. Acceptable items include sensitive paperwork such as old tax returns, bank and credit card statements, medical records and other personal documents. Items that cannot be accepted include black butterfly clips, hanging file folders, three ring binders, hard drives, magnetic tapes and plastic items. In recent years, Bank First reports shredding 87,600 pounds of paper across 18 events in 2024 and 91,975 pounds across 20 locations in 2025.

This two day Reiki I and II training uses the Usui Holy Fire III approach and is designed for personal healing, spiritual growth, or starting a practice as a Reiki practitioner. The class builds knowledge, practical skills, and confidence so participants can begin their Reiki journey with a strong foundation. Through interactive, hands-on learning, you will explore the history and principles of Reiki, understand how energy moves through the body, practice self treatment and hands-on techniques, and develop ease in offering sessions to others. The Reiki II portion deepens the work with Reiki symbols, distance Reiki, and additional methods to expand your experience. The training includes Reiki Placements, guided experiences, demonstrations, supervised practice, and the Reiki I and II manual from the International Center for Reiki Training. Upon completion, participants receive Reiki I and II credentials acknowledging successful completion of the course, along with the skills to integrate Reiki into daily life, support family and friends, or begin incorporating it into professional work. This hands-on workshop at Waterfront Wine Bar in Manitowoc, Wisconsin invites participants to create an epoxy river piece such as a charcuterie board, lazy susan, clock, key holder shelf, coasters, or a mini pair. Each project features premium black walnut and other fine hardwoods, paired with epoxy in colors chosen on site, with up to two colors available. After the session, every piece cures for about a week before entering a detailed finishing process that typically takes 8 to 10 weeks, with timing influenced by class size and shipping logistics. Finished creations are then shipped to arrive in excellent condition. All ticket sales are final. If you cannot attend, someone may come in your place. Green Day’s American Idiot comes to the Capitol Civic Centre for a special staging. The story follows Johnny, Tunny, and Will as they leave their hometown for the city, searching for meaning after 9/11. Their lives split in different directions... Tunny enters the military, Will heads back home to handle family obligations, and Johnny is pulled between a new romance and a dangerous companion. Presented as a driving rock opera with minimal spoken dialogue, the show uses the lyrics from Green Day’s music to carry the narrative. A two-time Tony Award winner, it is based on the band’s Grammy-winning, multi-platinum album and features every song from American Idiot along with additional tracks from 21st Century Breakdown. All other performances take place at the Forst Inn.

Bank First is hosting a free community paper shredding event in Manitowoc that is open to the public. Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food donation for each bag of personal documents they bring to shred, with all contributions directed to local food pantries. The event provides on-site, secure destruction of sensitive paperwork to help reduce the risk of identity theft. Confidential Records, an AAA certified shredding company, will operate mobile units staffed by licensed and bonded specialists and will ensure the secure removal of all shredded materials. Attendees may watch the process for added peace of mind. The event will proceed rain or shine, and businesses are asked not to participate so there is adequate space for community residents. Acceptable items include old tax returns, bank and credit card statements, medical records, and other personal documents. Items that cannot be accepted include black butterfly clips, hanging file folders, three ring binders, hard drives, magnetic tapes, and plastic items. Recent results underscore the program’s impact, with 87,600 pounds of paper shredded across 18 events in 2024 and 91,975 pounds processed across 20 locations in 2025.

Whisky D's3rd Annual Axe-Treme Competition
The 3rd Annual Axe-Treme Competition at Tapped on the Lakeshore brings a day of friendly competition and community support for veterans. One beneficiary is Silent Flags, Inc., a veteran owned nonprofit in Chilton, Wisconsin that provides personalized handcrafted flag display cases to the families of deceased veterans at no cost, helping ensure their service is remembered. New to axe throwing is welcome, with a coach on hand to guide first timers. Proceeds support the Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 and their mission to assist Wisconsin veterans through housing, medical, and personal assistance, as well as outreach visits in the community. Registration is available for four person teams at a $40 entry fee, and teams should choose a name. Liability waivers must be completed through Tapped on the Lakeshore before competing. The competition follows a bracket format with double elimination, and trophies and prizes are awarded to the top three teams. Payment options include Cash, Check, Chamber Bucks, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. For Venmo and PayPal, include the suggested donation fee so the full entry fee is received. CashApp does not charge fees. After making an electronic payment, submit the registration form by mail or email. Pre-registration is offered only through the Patriot Riders and Tapped on the Lakeshore. Expect 50/50 cash raffles and raffle baskets available the day of the event, drinks from the venue, and music by Hightower Entertainment DJ Services. Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 hosts an open monthly meeting at Tapped on the Lakeshore for anyone interested in the chapter, membership, and volunteer opportunities that support Veterans and their communities. A motorcycle is not required to belong, and membership is open to those who want to help. Members are expected to take part in meetings and chapter activities, which across the year include fundraisers such as a brat fry at The Gravel Pit Sports Bar & Grill in Kiel, a chili cookoff and bake sale, the Dennis J Murphy Memorial Ride or Cruise, the Dustin J Knapp Memorial Car and Bike Show, and the Axe-Treme Competition. The chapter also partners in Veteran focused community efforts and may respond to short notice requests like memorial rides or family escorts. As a 501(c)(3) based in Manitowoc County and serving nearby counties including Sheboygan, Calumet, Brown, Kewaunee, and Door, the group raises funds to assist Wisconsin Veterans and families with housing costs, medical needs, personal essentials, and outreach visits in homes and care facilities with supportive ceremonies and services. This meeting offers a straightforward way to learn about the mission, ask questions, and see how the chapter honors the legacies of Dustin J Knapp and Dennis J Murphy through ongoing service.
