Slow Train brings a mix of original songs and fresh arrangements rooted in country, folk, and acoustic blues to The ROQ. The group features nationally recognized singer and songwriter Rob McNurlin, nationally recognized guitarist Robert Shafer, and producer and bassist Will Carter. Their music salutes the legacy of artists like Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Hank Williams while carrying those traditions forward with new work.

Presented by CoentheButcher, New Orleans sludge metal veterans Eyehategod return to Live at the Shop in Dunbar, West Virginia, joined by DC death grind band No/Mas and West Virginia doom sludge band Horseburner, with more artists to be announced. This is an all ages event. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of show. This show is expected to sell out.
