The Morgantown Farmers Market is back at the Morgantown Market Place Pavilion with a range of produce, meats, breads, and artisan goods. It is an affiliate event of Main Street Morgantown. Main Street Morgantown is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Morgantown, West Virginia. Since 1984, the organization has served as a steward of the city's Downtown and Wharf Districts. As a National Main Street Accredited group, its work in Design, Economic Vitality, Organization, and Promotion follows the four-point model for revitalization.

A hunter safety course is available for newcomers and for anyone who needs the certification required for hunting. Registration takes place online through the West Virginia DNR website. Space is limited, so early sign-up is recommended.

Registration is now open for the Monongalia County Fair pageant, a weekend focused on building self-confidence, celebrating community, and honoring longstanding fair traditions. Open to ages 3 to 21, it is suitable for first-time participants as well as returning contestants. This edition also marks the first year of festivities at the new fairgrounds. Contestants will have the opportunity to represent the Monongalia County Fair on stage.
