His deep focus on the music during the pandemic accelerated his growth, leading to mastery of the mandolin and the addition of vocals and other instruments. He has been invited to appear with many of today’s notable artists, and in 2024 he received the International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year award.

The ensemble is a traditional 21-piece Glenn Miller style big band from Huntsville, created to honor Glenn Miller’s legacy while introducing new audiences to popular music from the big band era performed by local musicians. Sometimes nicknamed the Glenn Miller band of North America, the group seeks to capture the authentic sound of 1940s and 1950s greats such as Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin, offering swing tunes that appeal to all ages. Whether you are continuing your Fleet Feet No Boundaries journey or looking to add guidance to your solo running, this training centers on a common goal race and uses a gradual plan to build stamina, routine, and self belief. It starts with a kickoff to meet the coaching team and fellow participants, followed by weekly group workouts led by experienced coaches and support from dedicated mentors within the welcoming Fleet Feet community.
