A docent from COMU leads a walk through the permanent collection at The Columbus Museum, offering an approachable overview of collection highlights. Over the course of about an hour, participants explore U.S. art along with the area’s history through selected, well loved objects from the collection. The program is free, and advance registration is not required.

A monthly Super Smash Bros. tournament takes place at TCP. The entry fee is $10, and half of the collected fees go toward the prize. This recurring event offers a straightforward setting for players to compete and show their skills.

Expectant parents are invited to a free guided tour of the maternity services at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. The walkthrough highlights key areas, including the High-Risk Antepartum Unit, the 24/7 Obstetrics Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and the Mother-Baby unit. Guides will answer questions and review visitation guidelines so families know what to expect before arrival. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Each expectant parent may bring one adult guest, and children are not permitted. The Midtown Campus also offers related women and children’s services, including a NICU, OB/GYN hospitalists, midwifery, maternal-fetal medicine, and pediatric care at the Bill & Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital.

Magic: The Gathering Pauper play is back at The Cool Place - Columbus, welcoming both casual and competitive players. Casual games have free entry, while the sanctioned option costs $5, with $4 directed to the prize pool. Each participant receives a minimum of one promo card, and top finishers can earn extra prizes. Rewards are issued as store credit and promo packs. Participation promos come from official Wizards of the Coast Promo Packs, shuffled and randomly redistributed. The atmosphere supports playing, trading, and community connections.
