The Argenta Farmers Market kicks off its 2026 season at Flyway Brewing in Argenta. Every Thursday, shoppers can find locally grown and made groceries sold directly by farmers. Vendor applications are not accepted through Facebook.

Caverns & Forests hosts a four-week Dungeons & Dragons campaign designed for players with some experience. Each run seats six participants, and new campaigns begin monthly. Tickets are $75 and cover all four sessions, waive the usual $5 cover during the campaign, and include a character miniature of your choice. The adventure is led by Dungeon Master Garrett, the venue’s D&D specialist. Ticket holders can use extra Player Handbooks and other accessories provided in the café during sessions. Players must bring their own level 5 character built with rolled stats. Artificer and Blood Hunter classes are not allowed, and monster races are not permitted. The DM will review starting items and other general details at the first session. Participants must be 18 or older. All sales are final with no refunds, and arriving on time or a little early is requested out of respect for the party.

Vida provides step by step guidance so you can understand how Quiltworx patterns come together and gain confidence as you work through each section. This class is intended for confident beginners and covers building a full quilt with the Quiltworx approach, using foundation paper piecing for accuracy, organizing and following a multi step layout, and developing comfort with a larger project. This is a kit required class. The kit includes all fabrics for the quilt top and binding, along with the pattern and foundation papers. Backing is not included. The finished quilt measures about 68 by 68 inches. The kit price is $182 with layaway available. The class fee is $60, and capacity is limited to 10 students. Please bring a sewing machine in good working order, a rotary cutter, an Add A Quarter ruler, a fabric glue stick and a repositionable glue stick, 50 wt thread, snips, and a seam ripper. Recommended tools include an Acorn Pressing Pen with Solution Refill, a tracing wheel, and a Cutter Pillar light table. All supplies are available in the shop if needed.

Organized by 501 SoleRunners, this inaugural 5K walk and run was created in memory of Coach Stervin Smith’s father, who passed away from pancreatic cancer. It unites the community to honor loved ones, raise awareness, support families affected by the disease, and kindle hope for the future. Participants and supporters can get involved by walking, running, volunteering, sponsoring, or simply showing support. Every effort helps bring attention to a disease that impacts thousands of families each year and turns awareness into action. Run in honor and walk in hope.

The BDB100 Training Ride Program helps Arkansas cyclists prepare for the annual Big Dam Bridge 100 while building connections with local riders, clubs, and bike shops. Participants are organized by experience and goals for the 26 or 50 mile routes. Group 4 welcomes those brand new to riding. Group 3 suits riders with some experience who want to get comfortable in group settings and aim to finish the 26 mile course. Group 2 is for recreational riders who ride regularly and want to complete the 50 mile option or improve their time on the 26. Group 1 focuses on pacing, fueling, and coordinated paceline skills, with preparation for the 50 mile route and the potential to reach 75 miles. The series features recurring training rides that depart from Murray Park and is designed to build confidence in group riding and a sense of community. Registration costs $50, is limited to 120 participants, and requires a minimum age of 12. Support for the program comes from Spokes Bicycle Shop, Phat Tire Bicycle Shops, Shift Modern Cyclery, Mello Velo, and Rev Rock. Every registered participant receives a complimentary disc along with free food and drinks, and prizes will be awarded across all categories. The event supports efforts to help children heal from child abuse and neglect. Donations to CPC’s pantry are encouraged, with one mulligan granted for each item contributed.

Returning for its fourth year, Bike Fest comes to Rock City Harley Davidson. Hosted by The Heavenly Riders, it welcomes M/Cs, S/Cs, M/Ms, motorcycle enthusiasts, and car clubs for a lively day featuring food, music, plenty of fun, prizes, and more.

Learn curved piecing the easy way in a Mod Owls Revival quilting class led by Vida. Using the Wonder Curve rulers from Sew Kind of Wonderful, you will practice techniques that simplify curves, so there is no pinning, centering, or snipping... just cutting, sewing, and squaring. Instruction covers building confidence with the rulers, creating smooth and consistent curved seams, piecing blocks without complicated setup, and improving accuracy through careful cutting and squaring. This class is designed for confident beginners. The class fee is $40 and enrollment is limited to nine students. Please bring a sewing machine in good working order, a rotary cutter, 50 wt thread, snips, a seam ripper, the Mod Owls Revival pattern, thirteen one third yard cuts of assorted focus fabrics for the owls and flying geese, five yards of background fabric, the Quick Curve ruler, the Mini Quick Curve ruler, and a squaring ruler that works for 4 to 6 inch blocks. Kits in the featured colorway are available from the shop, and all supplies can be purchased there if needed. The Acorn Pressing Pen with solution refill is recommended.

Experience Caribbean rhythms at a returning reggae celebration highlighted by a strong artist roster. Headliners include Turbulence of Jamaica and Culture featuring Kenyatta Hill, with HR from Bad Brains performing with Lion Heights. The lineup continues with Lion Heights from Austin, Yard Squad from St. Louis, The Band from Little Rock, Butterfly, and more. DJ Nick Hud keeps the music flowing, and Sonta Jean, the Koky Queen, hosts. Families can look forward to free entry for children 12 and under and a dedicated Kids Zone. Expect food plus arts and crafts vendors, and tickets are available.

Game Goblins in Little Rock presents a local Standard tournament with store credit on the line. The event features multiple Swiss rounds and may include a top cut based on attendance, all supported by certified judges and event staff for a focused competitive setting. Entry is 10 dollars with casual rules enforcement. Participants need a Standard legal deck, familiarity with current Modern rules and Competitive REL procedures, and the stamina to play through several Swiss rounds with a top cut if they advance. Prizes are awarded as full store credit to the top cut.
