This is a kit required class. The kit includes all fabrics for the quilt top and binding, along with the pattern and foundation papers. Backing is not included. Please bring a sewing machine in good working order, a rotary cutter, an Add A Quarter ruler, a fabric glue stick and a repositionable glue stick, 50 wt thread, snips, and a seam ripper.     The BDB100 Training Ride Program helps Arkansas cyclists prepare for the annual Big Dam Bridge 100 while building connections with local riders, clubs, and bike shops. Participants are organized by experience and goals for the 26 or 50 mile routes. Group 4 welcomes those brand new to riding. Group 3 suits riders with some experience who want to get comfortable in group settings and aim to finish the 26 mile course. Group 2 is for recreational riders who ride regularly and want to complete the 50 mile option or improve their time on the 26. Group 1 focuses on pacing, fueling, and coordinated paceline skills, with preparation for the 50 mile route and the potential to reach 75 miles. The series features recurring training rides that depart from Murray Park and is designed to build confidence in group riding and a sense of community. Registration costs $50, is limited to 120 participants, and requires a minimum age of 12. Support for the program comes from Spokes Bicycle Shop, Phat Tire Bicycle Shops, Shift Modern Cyclery, Mello Velo, and Rev Rock.
