Performed with the swagger and attitude associated with the era, the goal is an immersive dose of pure 90s nostalgia.

Chillin at the Chul: Starry Night Guitar

Part of Tohono Chul's summer Chillin' at the Chul series, this two hour, step by step canvas class from TJ's Paint Parties guides participants in painting a guitar accented with butterflies. The session is open to the public, and there will be live music nearby. Advance registration is required. Registration includes more than 15 fresh layouts from Creative Memories creators, a gift bag, lunch and refreshments, prize drawings, and free make and take projects.

Habitat for Humanity Tucson is seeking Desert Warriors to support homebuilding at the Angels Crossing neighborhood throughout the summer. No prior experience is required, and volunteers can choose from flexible opportunities with 4 to 6 hour shifts. Bring enthusiasm, a spirit of service, and a desire to make a positive impact. Each shift earns one raffle ticket, with extra entries available when bringing a friend. After completing one shift, volunteers receive a Desert Warriors T-shirt and are entered for monthly prize drawings. RSVPing on Facebook does not reserve a spot. Summer Swim & Pickle Ball Camp!

A youth program in Oro Valley blends dedicated pickleball training with supervised swim time. Designed for ages 8 to 16, the camp focuses on skill development for players who already know the basics, with small-group coaching and a four-day format that builds confidence and technique. Each participant receives a camp T-shirt and a certificate of completion. Pool time includes the outdoor slide and open swim, with lifeguards on duty. Participants should bring a towel, sunscreen, and lunch, and wear appropriate swim attire. Transportation between locations is provided by Oro Valley Sun Shuttle, and residents of Oro Valley can arrange home drop-off for an additional fee.
