An evening of rich songwriting brings Portland duo Fox and Bones together with Birds & Arrows and Leila Lopez in a benefit for the Tucson Folk Festival and TKMA. Fox and Bones pairs harmony-forward, post yacht rock vibes with lyrics that explore technology, the political moment, anxiety, party culture and mental health, blending vintage folk rock textures with modern indie pop. The duo has toured widely, sharing stages with Rayland Baxter, The Dead South, ZZ Ward, Fantastic Cat, ALO and Glitterfox. Their catalog includes the album “Long Time Honey” and the forthcoming fifth release “Are We Still Having Fun,” created in collaboration with songwriter and producer Greg Holden. They have also earned recognition including first place in the Tucson Folk Festival songwriting contest, second place in the International Acoustic Music Awards and Best Folk/Americana Album from the PNW Music Awards.
