For the comfort and safety of all, keep dogs leashed, licensed, and up to date on vaccinations, and maintain control at all times. Clean up after your pet and dispose of bagged waste in trash receptacles. Watch paws and noses around cactus pieces and other trail debris, and do not allow dogs to leave the trail. Be mindful of heat, monitor for signs of stress, and use the water fountains and refill stations located throughout the Garden. Any dog that acts aggressively toward people or other dogs will be asked to leave the Garden.

    2026 AZ Sunrise Series

    The Arizona Sunrise Series keeps runners active through the hottest months by getting started in the cooler early hours, and this finale brings the community to Riparian Preserve for the concluding race of the 13th annual series. The series features seven total events across the Valley, with registration available for individual races or the full collection. Participants earn points for every event they complete, with additional points based on age group and overall placement. After the final race, the top 100 point earners, along with anyone who completes at least four of the seven events, are entered into the Arizona Sunrise Series prize drawing. Alongside sponsor giveaways from StartLine and partners, three winners will receive a $500 gift card. Entry perks include a custom series medal, a medal add-on for each series race completed, and a choice of Dri-Fit racerback tank top, sleeveless shirt, or short sleeve shirt. Courses feature extra water stations. Age group awards are presented to the top three in divisions ranging from 8 and under through 80 and over. Pre and post race refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade. All races are chip timed with real time results and photos available through the organizer’s website or mobile app. The series is owned and operated by StartLine Racing. Race day registration will be available on site at Riparian Preserve for $50, payable by cash or credit card. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for those who register on race day.
