At Peoria Community Center, the Barony of Sundragon presents a group competition in the arts and sciences that celebrates clothing, equipment, and skills from before the 17th century. Teams collaborate to assemble a complete historical kit, then models take the runway for a fashion showcase with spoken presentation that highlights how people dressed and worked in earlier eras. A designated photo area will be available. Entries from any pre-17th century period are welcome, and related work may include items like tools, accessories, and pre-prepared food as part of the kit. Individuals or groups may take part. Each entry must be displayed on a model or a mannequin, and basic documentation is required. Display tables are available for those who prefer not to compete. This is a dry site. Recognition will be given for a top entry overall, standout attire, excellence within specific categories, and a selection made by the populace. Admission is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. One dollar will be withheld from any pre-registration reimbursement.
