    At the Antioch Community Center, MOMS Club of East County presents its annual Trunk or Treat in support of Be Exceptional Programs, which offers inclusive and adaptive services for individuals with disabilities and their families. This festive, Halloween-themed gathering features creatively decorated car trunks, sweets and alternative goodies, a hands-on animal area, sensory-sensitive activities, kid-focused games and interactive stations, local food options, and community voting for favorite trunks, with additional seasonal fun to be announced. Entry is free, and advance signups are encouraged to help plan for attendance, treats, and supplies. Voluntary contributions benefit Be Exceptional Programs. Organizers are seeking businesses, community groups, and families to host themed trunks, as well as donations of sealed candy and alternative treats, volunteers for setup, activities, parking, check-in, and cleanup, sponsorships and in-kind support, and food vendors interested in participating. Trunk hosts are invited to design child-friendly themes, simple carnival-style games, and engaging experiences. Decorations should avoid blood, gore, graphic imagery, and realistic weapons. Guests can cast votes for favorite trunks through donations, with all voting proceeds directed to Be Exceptional Programs, and prizes awarded to the trunks that receive the highest donation totals. Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult throughout the event.
