Each Monday features a family storytime with lively tales, sing-alongs, and playful activities. All families are welcome, and the program is especially suited for children ages 1 to 5.

Held every Thursday, this pub quiz hosted by Quizmaster C is free to play and pairs well with pub fare and drinks. Teams compete for gift certificates, including $30 for first place, $20 for second, and $10 for the second-to-last finisher.

Take a swim at Cottage Pool followed by a free family movie outdoors. Bring a picnic or pick up snacks at the concession stand, then settle onto the grass for the show. Lawn seating is available, so bring a blanket or a camping chair. Glass containers are not permitted. The public swim costs $5 per person, and the movie is free. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Nickel Slots take the stage in Woodland at the Yolo County Fair as the headlining act for the Friday Night Concert Series. All ages are welcome, and admission to the fair is free.
