Local astronomers guide the experience with telescope viewing and share perspectives on the meteor display, planets, and star clusters. Lounge seating offers a comfortable spot to take in the show. Enhance the night with a Night Sky Snack Pack that includes a portable telescope, a stargazing guidebook, a mix of sweet and savory treats, still and sparkling water, and a bottle of Trinitas Cellars Pinot Noir to enjoy under the stars. The night runs with an 8:00 to 10:00 PM lesson, where 8:00 to 9:00 covers individual steps (great for beginners) and 9:00 to 10:00 shifts into partnered routines. A relaxed lounge in the Doña Benicia Room offers music, pool, snacks, and games such as Just Dance, all set up for teens to unwind and have fun. The space is reserved for teens only and is intended to be welcoming and safe. Friends can spend time together or meet new people in a low-key setting. New and experienced cornhole players are welcome at Napa Elks Lodge #832 for an evening of friendly competition. Entry is $10 per player, and no partner is needed. Players can take part in up to four round robin games, followed by a single elimination bracket. The format depends on turnout. If fewer than 12 people register, play is singles. With 12 or more, the event uses the Switch format. Food along with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from the lodge, and outside food or drinks are not permitted.
