This class for beginners introduces the foundations of Zen meditation with guidance from OG Zen Collective. Participants learn how to practice zazen, relax the body and mind, focus attention, and maintain proper meditation posture. The session also covers key elements of Zen teachings and the etiquette observed in the meditation room, or zendo. Several Buddhist meditation methods are presented, and there is time to ask questions. The class is free, donations are appreciated. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
