Walking the Path of the Shaman, Intro to the Drum Journey

1505 Tollhouse Rd, Clovis · verified Aug 2
    See details

Experience an introductory, core shamanic workshop that uses guided imagery and steady drumming to support the immram, the inward journey. Participants practice an ancient method for accessing inner guidance, meet personal power animals and spirit allies such as guides, guardians, teachers, ancestors, and protectors, and deepen connection with the unseen world. The approach is noncultural and eclectic, drawing on universal shamanic themes. This four-hour session includes a workbook, a digital certificate of completion, and light refreshments with water and tea. Continued support is available through monthly shamanic drum circles and guided journeys featuring a consistent drumbeat with a call back. Please bring a drum and rattle if you have them, with a few available to share. Pack a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow, and a bandana or scarf to cover your eyes. Shoes are typically removed, so thick socks are recommended. Expect to lie down or sit on your mat or blanket, or use a chair if that is more comfortable, and wear loose, comfortable clothing. A light lunch beforehand is suggested. Bring a refillable water bottle and any personal snacks you prefer; light snacks, water, and tea will be provided. The cost is $75 and prepayment is required to prepare materials and reserve a space. Payment is accepted via PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle to Dawn Everhart at 559-341-7452. Deposits are nonrefundable, though someone may attend in your place. The workshop is led by Dawn Everhart, RN and RMT, a nurse healer, Shamanic Practitioner, and Medical Reiki Master with more than 30 years of experience in core shamanism who guides inner exploration by blending traditional practices with her own encounters with Spirit. Presenters are not acting as nurses, physicians, or counselors. Seek professional therapeutic care if needed. This safe-practices program does not use or encourage mind-altering substances in this beginning workshop, including cannabis, alcohol, psilocybin, or other hallucinogens. Ross and Dawn respect plant medicine traditions and can recommend trusted practitioners after completion of the introductory training.

Wild & Woven Women's Circle: Meeting Yourself with Kindness

1308 Clovis Ave, Clovis · verified Aug 2
    See details

This monthly women’s circle offers a welcoming space for exploration, empowerment, and genuine connection. Rooted in the spirit of the wild, it celebrates intuition, courage, growth, and the parts of self that resist being tamed. Woven speaks to community and shared wisdom, highlighting the strength that comes from being in it together. Participants gather to question, rest, and reflect while exploring what it means to live fully in their bodies, their lives, and the wider world. Each gathering weaves together guided conversation, reflective or creative practices, breathwork or meditation, restorative movement, and a closing sound bath. This circle focuses on meeting yourself with kindness. Many people speak to themselves more harshly than they would to someone they love, so the session turns toward self compassion and inner care. It introduces practical, honest, and gentle approaches to self love that feel attainable, encouraging treatment of oneself with the same care offered to others.
