Her latest release, The Blue Rock Sessions, is her first completely solo acoustic record, created during a songwriting residency at Blue Rock Studio and Retreat in Wimberley, Texas. She also teaches English and Writing at Cumberland University and has a debut poetry collection, The Cardinals, scheduled with Red Hen Press in September 2026. Surf City Allstars perform as part of the Saturdays in the Park concert series at Berniece Bennett Park in Westlake Village. Food trucks will be available, or attendees can bring a picnic. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs for comfortable seating during the show.

Enjoy a tribute-filled night featuring Cubensis and Shaky Feelin'. Cubensis, a Los Angeles based band honoring the Grateful Dead, recreates the spirit of classic Dead and Jerry Garcia Band shows with improvised sets that pull from every era while keeping a sound that is distinctly their own. The group has welcomed guest appearances from Chris Robinson and Marc Ford of the Black Crowes, Warren Haynes and John Molo of Phil and Friends, former Grateful Dead members Vince Welnick and Tom Constanten, and Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band. Shaky Feelin', a Ventura jam band and Phish rock tribute, blends rock, reggae, bluegrass, and funk, drawing on influences such as Phish, the Grateful Dead, Sublime, the Disco Biscuits, and the Beatles. Their live shows favor open ended improvisation and a never the same way twice approach built on communication and strong musicianship. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
