The 29th Annual Fall Harvest Festival brings a giant pumpkin patch and a full farm experience with pick-your-own fruit, vegetables, and flowers. The grounds are filled with games, rides, photo spots, live entertainment, themed weekends, bands, and more. Weekend schedules include performances, demonstrations, and all entertainment. Tractor-drawn wagon rides circle the farm, and daily visits to the Animal Center offer time with the animals. Admission varies by day. Weekday entry is sold at the gate only, while weekend admission is available online only. Weekend tickets are issued for specific dates and entry windows; guests may arrive at the start of their chosen window up until the next one. Have tickets ready on your phone or printed for faster entry. All visitors go through a security screening. Tickets are nonrefundable, but holders can transfer to another available date or time within the festival at the same price when space allows. Online tickets are required on weekends with timed entries in accordance with County of Ventura guidelines. Acres of pumpkins, fruits, and vegetables are ready for picking throughout the festival. For everyone’s comfort and safety, please note: no dogs or outside animals, no coolers, only small standard-size backpacks, purses, and diaper bags, no smoking or e-cigarettes anywhere on the farm, and no weapons. The country’s biggest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner brings its immersive antics to Thousand Oaks at Los Robles Greens. Guests share a full dinner while piecing together clues to crack the case, and the culprit could be anywhere in the room. Expect surprises as audience members may be drawn into the investigation as suspects. Admission covers dinner, the live mystery entertainment, gratuity for the service team, and a prize package for the evening’s top detective. Geoff Tate brings the culminating chapter of his Operation: Mindcrime project to the stage, featuring the music performed with a live string ensemble and accompanied by a laser light show. The multi platinum, Grammy nominated singer and songwriter is known as the longtime voice and creative leader of Queensrÿche, a band that sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and toured in over 50 countries. Their 1988 concept album Operation: Mindcrime is frequently referenced alongside classics like Tommy and The Wall, and the follow up album Empire surpassed three million in sales and delivered the hit single “Silent Lucidity,” which earned a Grammy nomination and became the group’s first Top 10 song. After leaving the band, Tate continued the story under the Operation: Mindcrime name with a trilogy of concept albums released from 2015 to 2017, and he continues to perform around the world celebrating this influential body of work. Guests under 18 require an accompanying adult.

An evening dedicated to the music of Steely Dan comes to the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks. Current and former Steely Dan musicians lead the performance with a full backing band and vocalists, presenting the songs in the spirit of the original recordings. Special featured guest artists include Denny Dias on guitar, Steely Dan co-founder, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter on guitar, Steely Dan co-founder, Royce Jones on vocals, Keith Carlock on drums, Bob Shephard on saxophone, Grant Geissman, lead guitarist with Chuck Mangione, Oz Noy, solo guitarist, Yaron Gershovsky, keyboardist with the Manhatten Transfer, and Will Lee on bass from the Late Show with David Letterman.
