All adoption fees and 10 percent of in-store plush sales support Happy Cats Haven, a limited-admission shelter in the Colorado Springs area that provides a safe landing for shy cats, cares for those with medical or behavioral needs, and strives to exceed typical no-kill and socially conscious standards. At the previous fair, 62 plush friends found new homes and $444 was raised in support of the organization. Plush donations are welcome for this event. Items should be from anime fandom, Japanese or kawaii culture, must not be counterfeit, strongly odorous or heavily stained, and should not need major repairs, though small mends are fine.
