Food Truck Fridays return for the summer with a mix of food trucks and live music on the lawn between the Eisenhower Recreation Center and the pickleball courts. The park is a key example of xeriscaping in Lakewood and serves as a demonstration garden for water smart landscaping. The tour shares ideas for creating a xeric garden and explains how the site is used to showcase water wise practices. Participants will meet in the parking lot near the demonstration garden. Children are welcome, and the jungle gym can be enjoyed afterward. Bringing pets is discouraged for this event.

Market in the Park at The Aurora Highlands turns Winged Melody Park into a lively, family-friendly marketplace once a month from June through September. Explore artisan and craft booths with handmade goods and local products, then wander a farmers market offering fresh produce and baked items. Food trucks, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks add to the festive atmosphere. Throughout the event, the Winged Melody Park carousel offers complimentary rides for all ages, creating a nostalgic highlight to a day of shopping, snacking, and time outdoors.

The Jeffco Back to School Bash returns for its third year at Jeffco Stadium. This no cost community celebration welcomes Jeffco students, families, staff, and community members for a day filled with fun, food, and helpful back to school resources that make getting ready for the first day easier.

Denver Days Back to School Fest 2026 serves as the official finale of Denver Days. This free celebration for Denver families features more than 1,000 backpacks stocked with school supplies, helpful community resources, a clinic offering vaccinations and basic physical exams, and activities for all ages. Students can personalize their new backpacks at a customization station presented by Goodwill of Colorado. Entertainment includes live performances from Youth on Record and haircuts offered by R&R Headlabs, along with additional offerings that highlight community, culture, and opportunity as the new school year begins.

Market at the Center is a monthly outdoor marketplace that spotlights local makers, food vendors, artists, and community organizations at the National Western Center. Presented in collaboration with the National Western Stock Show and CSU Spur’s Second Saturdays, it brings together families, entrepreneurs, and neighbors for a day of exploration, connection, and fun. Set in the Main Campus Plaza, the event features shopping with local booths, small business support, hands-on activities, and CSU Spur programming in an open air setting. Browse, meet creators, and connect with Denver’s creative community. This edition includes a back to school focus with a backpack giveaway.

Explore the Denver Art Museum campus on a docent-led, hour-long tour that highlights how its three distinct buildings reflect the evolving idea of what an art museum can be. When the weather cooperates, the experience includes time outside to examine the architecture before continuing in the galleries. Tours are offered on the second Saturday of each month. Meet the docent in the Hamilton Building lobby to begin. Groups of more than 10 are encouraged to arrange a group tour. Participation is included with general admission and is free for members.

Hosted at Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Denver, this amputee support group brings together individuals living with limb loss and their loved ones to connect in a supportive setting. Participants can exchange personal experiences, learn practical approaches for navigating life after amputation, and receive insights from rehabilitation professionals focused on improving movement, self-reliance, and confidence. Caregivers and family members are welcome to take part in the conversation. The group offers in-person connection, education, and emotional support through regularly scheduled meetings open to community members. RSVP is welcome but optional. His album Shwaycation reflects a push into new creative territory while staying grounded in the feel that defined his early work, and he continues to expand into television and film as an independent artist. Claire Wright, a Northern California native, brings sunlit energy shaped by years of songwriting in Southern California and Nashville. Influenced by artists like Jack Johnson and The Dirty Heads, she blends country-style storytelling with reggae-leaning production for a signature sound. Her debut release on Ineffable Records includes collaborations with Iration and G. Love & Special Sauce and is gaining traction on the West Coast reggae landscape.
