Players compete in a single PDGA XC-tier round of 18 holes using a choose-your-tee-time flex format. Registered players receive first choice of tee times and right-of-way on the course. Brandon Flowers appears at The Ogden Theatre, sharing the personal storytelling that drives his third solo album, Thrasher. His journey stretches from small-town Utah to the bright lights of Las Vegas, where early fascinations with new wave, post-punk, and Britpop met the country and western music he heard on drives with his father. That blend has grown into material that spans honky-tonk, road songs, and intimate ballads, drawing on people and places from Nephi to Las Vegas. Much of this work took shape in Nashville with producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, joined by seasoned musicians including David Rawlings on guitar, pedal steel player Bruce Bouton, and harmonica player Charlie McCoy. Teresa Storch delivers message-rich folk rock and bluesy Americana, marked by controlled, powerful vocals and melodic grooves. She was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and her album Come Clean earned international recognition, appearing on The Telegraph UK’s list of top Country/Americana releases. She leads the Teresa Storch Band and has drawn comparisons to Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin. David G Smith is a veteran touring songwriter, a regular at Nashville’s Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival, and a host and performer at the Bluebird Cafe. His career highlights include an arena event for 5,000 Eagle Scouts, work with Keb’ Mo’, Justin Townes Earle, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Rory Block, and others, and songs that have charted internationally with placements on TNT, Lifetime, Travel Channel, and PBS.

The 13th Colorado State Cornhole Championships offers two full days of play with six total events, highlighted by a new teams competition featuring two divisions. Expect food trucks on site and trophies for first and second place in every bracket. Across the weekend, competitors will find singles split into three divisions, dedicated women’s play, a blind draw, a two-division teams event, coed doubles, and doubles across three divisions. The event is set at 3rd Shot Pickleball Denver. Participation is limited to Colorado residents. Division placement uses PPR from the most recent 120 days at the time of registration, or all-time overall if a recent rating is not available. Players may choose to move up a division, and MHC directors may adjust placements to ensure the correct competitive level. The teams event uses Scoreholio’s Multi Level Play format with four players per team, and teammates do not need to be from the same club. Two brackets are offered: an Open Teams bracket with no PPR limit and a 31 PPR capped bracket. For the capped option, the teammate with the lowest PPR should register first to establish the team average. Match play features two singles games and one doubles game after two round robin games are used to seed a double elimination bracket. Singles games are worth one point each and the doubles game is worth two, so a team must earn at least one singles win plus the doubles to advance. Each player participates in exactly one game per round. If a matchup is tied, a crew cup tiebreaker with all eight players decides the result. Teams may change who plays singles or doubles each round to suit their strategy. Payouts are set at 80 percent for all Open divisions, including Open Teams, Coed, Ladies, and Blind Draw, 60 percent for Competitive divisions, including the 31 PPR cap Teams bracket, and 40 percent for Intermediate divisions. A one-time $10 venue fee covers the entire weekend for each player. Only water in a reusable container is allowed inside. Tailgating or drinking in the parking lot is prohibited and will result in forfeited registration and removal from the premises. Bring your own chairs, and note that vaping is not permitted indoors.
