    Monthly Lunch N Learn Series

Parker · Texas Roadhouse, 11205 S Parker Rd

A monthly Lunch 'N Learn in Parker offers a welcoming space to build emotional resilience and practical coping skills for those impacted by cancer. Each session is led by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who weaves proven strategies with conversation around the table to encourage learning, connection, and support. While Sue’s Gift focuses on gynecologic cancer, these gatherings are open to anyone with a cancer diagnosis, as well as family members and caregivers, recognizing the needs of the entire support network. Topics draw from the Sue’s Gift blog and center on emotional support, trauma-informed techniques, and ways to handle the psychological challenges of a cancer experience. By pairing professional guidance with peer connection and a shared meal, the series helps reduce isolation and supports overall well-being. The Parker lunch is free through the generosity of Texas Roadhouse, with appreciation to Trevor Droogan, Managing Partner at the Parker location. Sessions are held at Texas Roadhouse in Parker.

Midlife Comedy Crisis turns the ups, downs, and head-scratching surprises of adulthood into punchlines. Hosted and produced by Denver comedian Will Frank, this stand-up showcase brings together seasoned performers and emerging local talent for a lively mix of sharp observations and relatable stories. Expect humor about creaky knees, constantly misplaced reading glasses, kids certain you are hopeless with technology, and the newfound belief that staying out past 9:30 is a major decision. The comics dig into marriage, parenting, dating after divorce, nonstop group chats, the quirks of modern culture, and that familiar moment when you walk into the kitchen and forget why you are there. It is comedy for anyone in their 30s, 40s, or 50s, or for anyone noticing that recovery after a night out takes a little longer. With quick wit and knowing perspectives, the show offers big laughs and the comforting reminder that being the adult in the room does not mean having everything figured out.
