    Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course

    Sedalia · Happy Dog Ranch, 3640 CO-67

A hands-on weekend course focused on The Masterson Method teaches participants to recognize a horse’s visual responses in order to locate and relieve tension at key junctions that influence performance. Designed as a follow-up to the Beyond Horse Massage book or DVD, this practical training uses gentle techniques to improve comfort while deepening communication and the horse–human relationship. Developed by Jim Masterson and shared with owners, therapists, and trainers worldwide, the approach emphasizes working with the horse’s feedback throughout each session. The course takes place at Happy Dog Ranch Horse Sanctuary at Jarre Creek. Participants must have read the Beyond Horse Massage book or watched the DVD before attending. The program is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for continuing education credits. Tuition is $545. For details, contact The Masterson Method office at 641-472-1312 or courses@mastersonmethod.com.
